In
his book, Who Is This Jesus?, Daniel (Dan) Owens draws you
into a closer relationship with Jesus as he writes about the character
and qualities of Jesus as inspired by the Gospel of John. Because of
Owens' special relationship with Luis Palau, and Palau's love of the
teachings of apostle John, this book has been dedicated to Luis Palau,
Owens long-time friend and mentor.

this book, based on the teachings of the apostle John, to you. Thank
you, Luis, for your friendship, your faithfulness, and your
encouragement along the way."
Palau responded to Owens by
saying "That introduction to your excellent messages on John's Gospel
blessed me. Keep on evangelizing. The world is huge; the Great
Commission is not revoked. Time is short."
After over twelve years
working side-by-side with Luis Palau, Dan Owens stepped out in faith and
launched Eternity Minded Ministries. The Lord has definitely blessed
this ministry as Dan Owens uses his gift of evangelism at every
opportunity, and shares his gift of teaching to disciple others. Since
then, Owens has traveled around the world ministering to people of many
nations and has proclaimed the Gospel leading hundreds of thousands of
people to the Lord. Just recently Christian World News reported on the
5,000 souls that came to Christ during EMM's evangelistic festivals in
Gitega Burundi Africa. The First Lady of Burundi attended and publicly
extended her gratitude to EMM for their ministry in her country.
Dan has developed a unique
and very successful holistic ministry model including humanitarian aid,
evangelistic festivals, church planting, discipleship training, and
follow-up. Following up with new believers is very important to Owens.
This practice is what sets his ministry apart from many others. Owens
emphasizes, "I don't want to be one who just preaches and hops on a
plane to go home. We have made a commitment to those who invite us that
we will invest our lives in their city to help establish the church
there."
